Anadarko Community Library Presents: “Food for Fines” Amnesty Program this December!

We are excited to announce that patrons will have the opportunity to clear their overdue fines and contribute to a worthy cause by participating in the Foods for Fines program in December.

How It Works: Have overdue fines lingering on your library record? We’ve got the perfect solution. Patrons can participate in our “Food for Fines” amnesty program this December by bringing in a nonperishable food item, and we’ll waive your overdue fines.

What to Bring: Library-goers are encouraged to bring nonperishable, unopened, and non-expired food items, ranging from canned goods and pasta to rice, cereal, peanut butter, and pet food (specifically cat and dog food).

Fine Print: While this program addresses overdue fines, the Library will not waive lost or damaged materials fees. However, the associated fees will be waived if items previously declared lost find their way back in good condition.

Giving Back to the Community: All donated food items will given to a local organization, ensuring that every contribution directly supports those in our community.

How to Participate: Drop off your contributions at the circulation desk during our regular library hours. For additional details or inquiries, please contact the Library at 405-247-7351 or library@cityofanadarko.org.

Join us in making this December a season of generosity, community, and great reads!
